Main Hall

The main hall, measuring 10.25 x 16.65M is very light and airy with a semi-sprung hardwood floor making it ideal for activities such as children's play, dancing, movement/exercise groups and an excellent venue for parties and wedding receptions.  Underfloor heating ensures comfort at colder times of the year. Acoustic soft wall blocks, curtains and an acoustic ceiling give a good sound quality.

It is licensed for groups of up to 200 (inclusive of organisers and performers), of which 180 may be in a close-seated arrangement on the ground floor, for a concert for example.  There are folding  tables and stacking chairs; staging is available.  Decorative drapes - a white fabric marquee-type draped canopy is available by arrangement as are strings of lights and bunting.

Sports - the floor is marked out with a badminton court.  Sports equipment includes a badminton net and table tennis tables.

Meeting Room

There is a small meeting room measuring 3.6 x 2.9M which is available for hire.   We're sorry but at present we have no wifi

 

Kitchens

There is a large well-equipped kitchen and a separate bar, each with a serving hatch to the main hall. Crockery, glasses and tableware may be included as part of your hire.

Toilets

There are ladies and gents toilets upstairs and a disabled toilet on the ground floor which also has baby changing facilities.
 

Disabled Access

The main hall is on one, step free level so accessible to wheelchair users.  There is a vehicular ramp leading to the front door and a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Wifi​

We don't have Wifi at the moment, but it will be installed for 2027.

Parking

There are up to 40 car parking spaces.  For larger events, extra field parking is available by separate arrangement with the Playing Fields Association.
